Synopsis
When investigative journalist Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) goes sniffing for a scoop involving a sinister doctor (Riz Ahmed), he gets a whole lot more than just a story. He gets a symbiote. This mysterious goo can transform Eddie into a superhuman hybrid, granting him unbelievable powers – if only he can learn to control it. Together as Venom, Eddie and his symbiote could be a force for good or for evil. The question is: just how anti is this new hero going to be? Venom comes from director Ruben Fleischer (Zombieland) and also stars Michelle Williams and Jenny Slate.

krotis likedVenoma solid movie and one i’ve seen countless times. personally i don’t think Tom Hardy fits the role of Eddie but I think that’s because i’m comparing to the comics. if you love a good anti-hero and have nothing better to do, venom is a sound option.

There are in fact one or two big gags, but no real sense of fun - not compared to something like Thor: Ragnarok. Director Ruben Fleischer, who made Zombieland and Gangster Squad, is uninspired. Venom is riddled with the poison of dullness.
