Very meta, had a lot of funny moments but I for sure got bored. I actually briefly fell asleep in the theater at one point. Disclaimer: the theater was weirdly warm which made me sleepy 🤣 @robin liked this way more than I did

Besides Nick Cage looking really good, the movie was watchable, but not a movie you need to see in a theater. I’d wait for it to be streamed. The characters were likable. I thought it would be funnier. However, I only paid $4 thanks to T-Mobile/Atom.

There are some entertaining meta-touches here, but the entire Gutierrez plot is strained and borderline dull. Pascal isn’t a natural comic and the movie winds up fudging his crucial bad-guy status.
