you know when your friend sends you a decent meme that doesn’t make you laugh, but is good enough where you kinda blow air through your nostrils? this movie is that for 105 minutes 😤

David ChenApr 19, 2022Mostly just the one joke, but it's a pretty funny joke. I actually thought Pascal was even better than Cage.

Very meta, had a lot of funny moments but I for sure got bored. I actually briefly fell asleep in the theater at one point. Disclaimer: the theater was weirdly warm which made me sleepy 🤣 @robin liked this way more than I did
Izaak Whisler likedThe Unbearable Weight of Massive Talentgenuinely hilarious movie. definitely could’ve done without the whole Nic Cage working for the american government plot line. would’ve been better if it was just a couple of guys hanging out being dudes.

So good very meta
Sabrina Bondi likedThe Unbearable Weight of Massive TalentAn admirable tribute to one of the most iconic actors of his generation: Nicolas Cage. A hilariously insane, absurd journey through a career filled with unforgettable gems, equally ridiculous and without any creative constraints. Now all I have left to do is watch Paddington 2.
Nicole lovedThe Unbearable Weight of Massive TalentI thought this movie was so funny and entertaining. It did have a lot of cussing in it but it was still a pretty good movie.

William Luckenbach likedThe Unbearable Weight of Massive TalentThe Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent was an incredibly fun movie. Although the writing wasn’t the greatest, the acting was superb. I absolutely adored the dynamic between Cage and Pascals characters. 7/10
Horny Vader likedThe Unbearable Weight of Massive TalentThis movie was actually sick. Pretty funny through out the whole thing and it’s actually pretty cool concept if you pay attention. I also watched it off my first eddy in a brick so it for sure added to it.

Besides Nick Cage looking really good, the movie was watchable, but not a movie you need to see in a theater. I’d wait for it to be streamed. The characters were likable. I thought it would be funnier. However, I only paid $4 thanks to T-Mobile/Atom.

Best part of this flick is only spending 4 bucks from T-Mobile other then that it’s not even worth seeing for free
TJThomas Jr.Great Nicolas Cage original.
DCdean curlingWell-structured, well-paced, very entertaining. Makes fun of itself and the industry tropes while delivering a fun viewing. A+

There are some entertaining meta-touches here, but the entire Gutierrez plot is strained and borderline dull. Pascal isn’t a natural comic and the movie winds up fudging his crucial bad-guy status.

A cheap, crass and ruthlessly sloppy skewering of celebrity culture that is barely a millimetre above the material it thinks it is so sharply satirizing, Gormican’s new film is the definition of disappointment.

The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent—even when it doesn’t entirely work—shows the dedication and greatness of Cage, the impressive breadth of his career, and proves that Cage is, indeed, back. Not that he went anywhere.
