Denzel Washington: “Just give me my check” Rami Malek: “This is way harder when I can’t lip sync my way through a performance” Jared Leto: “I didn’t bathe for over six months, murdered three hamsters and developed a hilarious strut in preparation for this role”
Mario AlegreJan 16, 2021It’s the little things that make a movie. It’s the writing, the directing, the performances, the cinematography, the score, the mood, the setting, the sound, the pacing, the story....It’s the little things. It’s the little things that...get you caught with a bad movie.
Matt NegliaJan 30, 2021I feel like everyone involved was forced into being a part of this. Except Jared Leto.

Wow I related to this so much! Especially the scene where Rami Malek and Denzel are in a car talking about how bored they are while waiting for something to happen...
Ryan DanielJan 30, 2021you know your director is bad when all three of your top billed actors seems like they're acting for different movies 2021 Ranked
johnJan 26, 2021A slow-burn serial killer saga that leans into genre clichés like they haven’t been bludgeoned to death yet, John Lee Hancock’s “The Little Things” isn’t just set in 1990, it was also written in 1990. And it wasn’t just written in 1990, it still feels like it could’ve been…

I feel like i got click baited.
alorJan 25, 2021If I described this to you you'd think it's worse than it is, a competent but pretentious bit of hackwork that thinks its pointless ambiguities make it what the kids used to call a "character study" at the expense of both fun and its duty to genre. And as much as it pains…
matt lynchThis movie answers the question, "What if Se7en but without David Fincher's stylish direction and Kevin Spacey reveals that he DIDN'T kill the young detective's family at the end of the movie when he leads them out into the desert?"

It’s a little slow but grabbed my attention and kept me wondering how the case would be solved. The ending was a shock. However the dynamic between the suspect and the detective seemed too unrealistic towards the end so that was a turn off. Their adventure wouldn’t happen irl
A little enigmatic. The ending leaves you questioning “the little things” you saw throughout the movie as you try to solve the mystery. It leaves you wondering if you got right or if your bias wants to be right. Joe and Jim struggle with the same feeling throughout the movie
Really liked this but in my opinion Rami Malek doesn’t suit the detective role. Also very similar to “7even” felt like a bit of a rip off. “Old cop comes back because of a case that haunts him, weird killer that takes officer into middle of nowhere and threatens him” Too similar

I watched this my 15th birthday. It’s such a great movie, especially if you’re into crime stuff. The plot thickens, pulls, twists, it’s great. 10/10
Despite heavily leaning into some of the cliches of the crime genre it was still an enjoyable watch. The final twist was also a nice touch.

This movie was so incredibly slow even these great actors look bored out of their minds. Full of cop cliches and horrible writing. 3
A strong story with a strong cast to support it, this film delivers a captivating tale of mystery and a cat-&-mouse game. The cast shines as excellent devices but there’s a few points of confusion with clarification needed but no point on lingering (No Angels😉). A solid 7/10😮💨😁
hmm i had really high expectations going into this because of the cast. reminded me of 7even but wasn't as good. was pretty slow and mostly consisted of jared leto being creepy asf. enjoyable movie but nothing crazy. 6.5/10 fell asleep at the end but it's also almost 3am soooo

The Little Things is ok. The movie had solid performances and was suspenseful. However, it was also fairly bland, had pacing issues, and an unsatisfying ending.

First of all, the previews look AMAZING! However don’t go in expecting like an intense movie where they’re hunting for a sicko. The plot is very different and it’s a slow burn film that isn’t satisfying. I hated the ending like really!? But I don’t know to me it was…
KCKarla Cordovathe movie had a good cast, however, the story was a bit slow for me. this would have been a good movie to watch at home, not intense enough for me to justify going to the theater
ABAndrea BrigetteNot bad. The ending wasn’t great but it wasn’t predictable either. Left questions.
