Synopsis
In his first sequel ever, Denzel Washington returns to play ex-CIA black ops operative Robert McCall, a vigilante using his unique training on behalf of the exploited and oppressed. But how much farther will he go to bring justice to those he loves? And can’t we all just agree not to make Denzel Washington angry? Also returning for the sequel are the director and writer of the first film, Antoine Fuqua and Richard Wenk. The sequel also stars Pedro Pascal, Bill Pullman, and Melissa Leo.

Brutal action, a compelling plot and an exceptional final act. Denzel Washington is back and as ruthless as ever as Robert McCall, with some definite underrated acting. Pedro Pascal, one of my favourite actors right now, is a new addition to the series which I love. 3rd watch.

Victoria likedThe Equalizer 2i think i loved the first one the most but this one was really good too! i liked how it keeps you guessing on who mccall is gonna “equalize” in this movie compared to the third one where you know the antags the whole time. end fight isn’t as unique as the first movie’s though.
Tiger Z is "meh" onThe Equalizer 2Slow moving movies. This is the most emotional and realistic movie in the series. They focused on storyline and plot more than action. Had potential to be the best in the series but it’s the worst. Why does he have hair in this one. Lot of motivation in here.

Not quite as slick and smart as the first film, but still a damn good time! Pivoting to the detective murder mystery angle, this film often finds itself trying to be smarter than the writing allows it to be. Also Baby face Pedro Pascal is never intimidating 😂

This hard-edged action thriller may not match the original, but Washington’s McCall is a compelling character, the kind you’d quite happily like to hang out with whether he’s busting heads or painting walls.
