Do you know when a character does something *so*  inexplicably dumb that you actively root for the evil to win to empower them with a valuable life lesson? You 👏🏻 do 👏🏻 not 👏🏻 need 👏🏻 a 👏🏻 doll 👏🏻 that 👏🏻 much 👏🏻 how 👏🏻 old 👏🏻 are 👏🏻 you? 👏🏻

Same ole, same ole; nothing new. The movie jumps right into the plot. Really no build up, no character development, so it makes it hard to care for the main characters. Only a brief explanation as to why La Llorona is the way she is.

Better than what the reviews are giving it. Had some good parts, had a few flinch in your chair spots, overall it was worth seeing with the $5 credit Atom offered.

Was a pretty good movie with the scenes that can cause you to flinch a little. The visuals were good but I feel they could have been better when it comes to creating the realistic feel and making llorona look better

Raymond Cruz’s solemn performance as a skilled Mexican exorcist does the job, but the film misses a trick in not casting a more heavyweight veteran – Edward James Olmos? – to lend a little of that Max von Sydow ballast.

The Curse of La Llorona is middling B-movie schlock that goes for the low-hanging fruit: sequences you know will end with some kind of jump, bump or scream, and jokes that cut the tension and indicate everyone here knows what's up.

The dialogue starts at risible and descends from there.
