    I would have liked this a lot more if it was just 90 minutes of the amazing aerial footage that they shot and threw out most of the documentary bits in between which were mostly in-your-face military propaganda.

    Planes go vroom vroom and that is cool, especially in IMAX.   But this is a weirdly confusing and unfocused doc for what should be a pretty simple softball of a topic. Some diagrams or quick visual explanations would do wonders here!  So many questions about the way…

    Yeah The Blue Angles are cool; but getting up at 2am in the morning and driving to Pensacola Beach to make sure you get a good parking spot for when they fly over…is not.

    Great documentary! I got to see this in IMAX and it was well worth it. This film goes into depth about the team from a few years ago and what they had to go through and the current team now. The combination of history, music, and heart makes this film great! Would recommend!

    Epic!!! Made me and my dad want to go fly a plane. Huge respect for the Blue Angels and all the military personnel. All the maneuvers were crazy and so dangerous but they end up looking cool. Thought there was a good mix of flying jargon but also the emotional aspect.

    God I would give anything to fly in one of those jets while they maneuver. Amazing flying!!! So methodical with their timing and practice, in which they have to be. Really good doc! Only thing would have been better watching in VR.

    7.0/10. Solid documentary. Pretty cool bts of what actually happens with the Blue Angels. You never see this kind of thing. But very very amazing cinematography. Probably paid for by tax dollars but still.

    Really interesting documentary. It’s so crazy how close they get to each other and how much control they have! Also all the training they go through is wild but understandable!

    "I'm just glad to be here"... such a good documentary on what it's like to fly with the best of the best. Coming from a big Navy family, this was worth seeing.

Crowder’s documentary could have just felt like another puff piece and, in some ways, it can be. However, the movie always feels completely genuine and told from the heart.

Make no mistake: the planes are the stars of this production, and as hard as the filmmakers try to reassure us that there are human stories going on as well, the precision flying and all the training and practice that allow it to exist are what everyone paid to see, and the movie never forgets it.
