    i really liked the characters and animation style but i hated the antagonist and how predictable it felt, i also didn’t like the forced romance plot line, it wasn’t my favorite but i still enjoyed it, there’s a lot of cute moments and lovable characters

    Overly formulaic and predictable to the point it’s not fun. Nothing clever about it. Also very confusing why a world where humans and talking animals exist togther with zero reasoning or explanation. Pass.

    I'd give it a like, I just don't think the story is where it could be. Most of it is decent, I like the animation and characters, although the voice acting and songs are either a complete hit or miss. The recipe reminded me of other movies that do most of what this tries to do, only better. Great…

Based on the children’s books by Aaron Blabey, the plot isn’t all that, but The Bad Guys sparkles to life when it’s at its most antic — frantic chases, capers going wrong or just heated, animated debates in the gang.

The Bad Guys will work better for kids than adults: the comedy is broad, with farting not just a major source of laughs but an entire plot device, and the characters aren’t quite as lovable as the movie thinks they are, despite a winning voice cast that also boasts Marc Maron, Zazie Beetz and Awkwafina.
