Welcome to Raccoon Shitty
WilliamNov 24, 2021Respect the attempt to try and bring back the Silent Hill (2006) era of horror videogame adaptation (all confusing lore mystery, creepy atmosphere, gnarly violence, and wonky CG) and this Roberts guy knows how to compose a widescreen frame (nice slow zooms and split…
Josh LewisJan 4, 2022Despicable in almost every way. It's a shame because you can tell the actors are trying their best.

adamboltDec 7, 202135 Not as bad as I feared, but this struggles to get past the hurdle of attempting to adapt Resident Evil 1 *and* 2. Too much character set-up and structural ambition for a low-budget Screen Gems production that deserved to be a 75 minute romp through the Spencer mansion.…

Equivalent to watching a YouTube gameplay walkthrough… but it’s only the cutscenes.
ZachNov 26, 2021Claire looking at Leon for being consistently pathetic was my mood with this movie as a whole. I do believe in Claire Redfield supremacy though.
JayNov 22, 2021Oh man, I think I’m going to be in the minority here but I genuinely felt this movie puts forth a valiant effort. At times it even succeeds at being eerie and creepy. It fully feels like a video game adaption, probably for better and worse. So much of this reminded me of…

The story sticks closer to the source material than other Resident Evil movies, but otherwise is a big mess. I felt no attachment for anything this had to offer.
It was honestly the worst interpretation of the resident evil games and books I ever seen. They messed up all of the characters, and I don’t mean the actors. The writing ruined the pacing of the story and the personalities, and chemistry of all characters. .

zombies were realistic but didnt like the characters that much . the actress that played jill was amazing but can’t say the same about claire and leon . movie was decent . expected more tbh
I love resident evil. So much. I’m excited to see where the series goes from here
The director claimed that this would be faithful to the games (Resident Evil & Resident Evil 2) but it was very different. Not only had some of the iconic characters like Leon Kennedy and Jill Valentine changed race but the whole story was not very good.

I really wanted to like this movie more than I did since it actually adapted the games but they really only took the settings and broad story elements. The characters get done so dirty here especially Leon. Claire was definitely the best part of the movie and closest to the game
This was a fun, campy adaptation of Resident Evil 1 and 2. It was very weird at times and there were aspects of the adaptation I didn’t like (why’d they make my boy Leon a joke) but overall I had a great time watching it. Hoping for a sequel covering 3 and 4! Overall, solid 8/10
I had no problem with the casting choice for this movie and overall I thought it was pretty good. I saw it in theaters with my girlfriend when it came out and we both like Resident Evil and we both thought the movie was decent. Could’ve done better, but it was good to me. 9.2/10

This movie was nothing but randomly showing characters / locations / puzzle items from the games hoping that fans would like it and the story points go minute by minute before they cut to another story plot with the wrong characters at the wrong place . “ how the hell did…

RDRalph DeLellisAs a RE fan from the first game all the way to today, it was nice but could have been better. Clearly a love for the series is noticable but I feel Sony forced them to make "modern" changes. All the male characters were made stupid and had to be saved by women, Leon was the…

I think they tried to put the two games together in one movie and they cut out a lot of interesting things from the game and it also felt rushed the story.
BMbat manKnew this movie was not goinna live up to expectations since it is driven from like 4 RE games. The source material is too all over the place. Miscast of all characters. No original character traits. So laughable when it shouldn't be and where it is intentional, they do ok…
CAcuauhtemoc amaroWhat a waste of time disappointed what they did to the story there just trying to get views from easter eggs from the game
