Just...uninspired. Great cast, but so blandly acted. Bad directing, perhaps? Anyway, the trailers are better than the actual film.
You wanna get you zzzz’s perfect movie!
Ocean’s 8 is in many ways a mirror image of its predecessor, but it’s most delightful when it follows its own path toward girly transcendence.
This is a self-satisfied exercise that's only occasionally as much fun as it thinks it is.
British actor and TV host James Corden gets a bigger role in the story’s last act, but even his cuddly charm and pop culture cachet fails to bring this surprisingly flat action comedy to life.

In Ocean’s 8, an embarrassment of riches isn’t begging to be stolen – it’s doing the stealing. The film follows another branch of the Ocean family tree on another epic, impossible con. Only this time around, Danny’s sister Debbie Ocean (Sandra Bullock) has set her sights on all that glitters at the Met Gala in New York City. And she’s rounded up the perfect crew to pull this high society heist off: Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter, Sarah Paulson, Mindy Kaling, Rihanna, and Awkwafina.
Admit it: you’d commit a crime to hang out with that gang, too.
Directed and co-written by Gary Ross (The Hunger Games), Ocean’s 8 promises celebrity cameos and maybe even a few familiar faces from the Ocean’s Eleven franchise. But the big question is: What about Anna Wintour?!
