It made me very hungry but at least I found a new game to get me eating
HELP WE WERE GOING TO WATCH THIS IN SCHOOL BUT SOME KIDS PARENTS EMAILED THE SCHOOL SAYING GHE BOOK WAS SATANIC AND WAS TRYING TO GET THE BOOK BANNED, anyway I watched it at home and it was actually a really good movie and book too
I was OBSESSED with this movie when I was 12. I remember after watching this my brother and I would go outside and pretend that we were in the hunger games. This movie is still top tier 💯 This was a major “Do I want to BE Katniss Everdeen or do I WANT Katniss Everdeen” for me 😂

so many missing pieces from the book. jenn is so pretty in this movie. well paced. love the costume design. hate the shaky cams. rue😭. amazing acting.
8.5/10 it definitely lived up to my expectations. Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson were absolutely amazing 🫶🫶 also, i didn’t realize Liam Hemsworth was in this until over halfway through when i paused it on amazon prime and he showed up it the cast 💀💀💀

The Hunger Games looks poised to usher in a brand new hit franchise and deserves all the credit it gets for its confrontational subject matter, delicately-orchestrated fight sequences and sci-fi sensibilities. For teen audiences, films don't get much darker - or smarter - than this.
An effective entertainment, and Jennifer Lawrence is strong and convincing in the central role. But the film leapfrogs obvious questions in its path, and avoids the opportunities sci-fi provides for social criticism.
What's remarkable is the lack of cheese. Tacky effects, corny dialogue and creaky performances are all shown the door. We repeat: not the new Twilight.
