A little long and drawn out but I liked the overall story. Out of Peele’s three horror films, this is my least favorite. Great performances but wasn’t as strong as Get Out or Us.

This movie had me leaving the theater with more questions than I should’ve had for a movie that’s most likely not going to have a sequel. Disappointed.

Such a cool spin on aliens/ufos and a nod to how we tend to anthropomorphize everything.
ELEdward LermaI liked about 75% of this movie. The 25% dealing with the Chimpanzee could have been left out since its only link is the childhood actor. The scene at the circus seemed poorly edited other than the attack, it didn't serve a purpose to the story.

Cinematography and sound design make this film what it is. Acting was solid not great, campy at times, the horror elements were fantastic, the subplots were fun additions but the ending brings it down for me. Dramatic yes, does justice to the story if you look deep into it…

The best, eeriest parts of director Jordan’s Peele’s third feature, “Nope,” are as good as anything in “Get Out” or “Us,” and they’re very different from either of those earlier triumphs of imagination. This one is a three-fifths triumph, which means whatever you want that to mean. To me, it means go.
