Synopsis
Tom Cruise returns as secret agent Ethan Hunt in the sixth installment of the Mission: Impossible franchise (six is a LOT of impossible missions – that Hunt dude must be great at his job!). The action heats up after Hunt is forced to make a tough call during a mission – one that puts him, his IMF team, and his allies in a, dare we say, IMPOSSIBLE position? With death-defying stunts and heart-stopping chases, Ethan is once again in a race against time to prevent a global catastrophe. This latest installment is written and directed by Christopher McQuarrie, who previously helmed 2015’s Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation. The cast includes familiar faces like Rebecca Ferguson, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Michelle Monaghan, Alec Baldwin, and Sean Harris, as well as newcomers Angela Bassett, Vanessa Kirby, Henry Cavill, and Henry Cavill’s now-famous mustache.

It doesn’t take long to recognize that “Mission: Impossible — Fallout” is one of the best action movies ever made. Some will see the light during the first act HALO jump, when Tom Cruise caps off an exhilarating long-take by leaping out of a C-17 at 25,000 feet, aerial…
davidehrlichJul 26, 2018This series is just about a clinically insane man with the best luck and it’s the greatest thing ever

Tom Cruise is 56 years old, running at full speed across London rooftops like it’s nothing. Yesterday I severely twisted my ankle lightly jogging on the sidewalk. What I’m saying is, movies are magic. And also Tom Cruise may be an actual warlock. Full review…
Matt SingerJul 23, 2018Best movie I've seen since Paddington 2.
Patrick WillemsAug 15, 2018tom cruise is just training for when he eventually ditches scientology and he has to spend the rest of his life running from scientologists. they cant catch him if hes parkouring around skyscrapers at 60mph

JayJul 23, 2018100 Mission: Impossible isn't simply back with Fallout. It's cracking skulls and taking names and not just going full insanity 75% of the time but 100% of the time, all the time. Tom Cruise drops a physical performance up there in the ranks with Chaplin and Keaton,…

- MK lovedMission: Impossible – Fallout
A pretty near perfect action movie in my opinion. Just the right amount of over the top plot, action, and stakes. Makes it 10x better that the stunts are actually Tom. Plus, Paris helps. Character: Ilsa Scene: Bathroom fight Quote: “Was the little car your idea?” Rating: 9.8
Lina lovedMission: Impossible – Fallout“That’s a second we’ll never get back.” that one second saved them
Clay Werner lovedMission: Impossible – Fallout9.3 - I don’t think these can get better than this. This was awesome. Action movies that are action movies just to be action movies have never been close to my favorite genre. But it’s hard to beat a true thriller like this. The action is the best of the series. The stunts are awesome. The car…

Oh my god that was insane. If there is anyone more crazy than Tom cruise it’s the Cameraman. And Henry Cavill makes such a great villain. 7.9/10
Saul Blumberg lovedMission: Impossible – FalloutThis is the best Mission: Impossible movie. I loved this. It’s everything that was good about the previous movies rolled into one great film. This is one of my favorite action movies of all time. I can’t praise this movie enough. If you like a good spy movie, you have to watch it
Sabrina Bondi likedMission: Impossible – Fallout“Mission: Impossible” continues to be the rare film franchise that actually gets better with age. “Fallout” makes no attempt to reinvent the wheel. Instead it takes the best elements of its predecessors and then cranks the dial past 10.
- KikiMae is "meh" onMission: Impossible – Fallout
This was the one and only mission impossible I’ve seen and it wasn’t my thing. Typical action film. Guy fights people, guy speeds in car, guy blows things up, guy walks away with two scratches and is off to do the whole thing again.
Stefan lovedMission: Impossible – FalloutBy now they’ve mastered the Mission: Impossible recipe. At no point did I know for certain what was going to happen next, and even though i’ve seen this before, I was legitimately surprised multiple times throughout the film.
aly han is "meh" onMission: Impossible – Fallouti never really liked nor followed the mission impossible series, but it was decent? i'm sure it's better if you care about it as a series.

This movie was the best one out of all the Mission Impossible movies
JJJason Jacobsthis was a great movie but if you see it in 4dx be prepared to have motion sickness and back problems. The girl next to me literally threw up because of all of the motion and the action and the seats moving!

To be fair, you can scoff at the antics and still be swept away. The final quarter of Mission: Impossible—Fallout takes place in Kashmir, with a helicopter chase through deep gullies and past snowy peaks. McQuarrie keeps the action crisp and clear, to match the icy air.

It’s got that finely-tuned, perfect blend of every technical element that it takes to make a great action film, all in service of a fantastic script and anchored by great action performances to not just work within the genre but to transcend it. This is one of the best movies of the year.

Mission: Impossible knows exactly what it needs to be: a fun and chummy thrill ride that’s always self-aware. Fallout follows that agenda, while also revisiting its more severe roots. It’s a sequel in every sense of the word, reintroducing not only familiar faces, but styles, themes, and motifs of past films.
