Two names. Two boyfriends. Two best friends. Two semesters. Two school plays. Two dances. Two parties. Two distinct relationships with her parents. Two potential colleges. Two churches. And a hundred million kajillion tears for the scene at the airport.

ngl i cried like 3 times. this movie is realistic with its mother-daughter dynamic & its portrayal of a teenager transitioning into adulthood.
Watch the OG Real Women have curves, this one was okay. I just don’t like the whitewashing 🤷🏻

Very realistic. Sometimes funny, sometimes lovely and sometimes frustrating. I had extremely high expectations due to its fame, and although it is not as good as I thought, it is still great. I cried a couple times too.

This movie is dangerous and harmful. Where it tries to be a story of family and tough love if becomes a nightmare that glorifies emotional and mental abuse and neglect and no doubt has empowered real parents to do the same to their kids and guilt traumatized people to forgive.

A sweet movie showing the ups and downs about being an outsider in your teens. Saoirse Ronan (?) is perfection in her role.
