Atom User Reviews for Lady Bird
A sweet movie showing the ups and downs about being an outsider in your teens. Saoirse Ronan (?) is perfection in her role.
A+
I really enjoyed the movie. It reminded me of when I was back in high school. I would describe this movie as insightful.
I was shocked on how much I liked this movie. Very pleasantly surprised.
Growing up in Northern California, I loved all the local references.
I loved it!

thought it was going to be about LB johnson
Local ties so gotta support!!
white privilege nonsense
Great, surprisingly heartfelt movie with a very likable main character and supporting cast. Definitely recommend!
Greta gerwigs directorial debut is inspiring and and the entire cast was exceptional!
A refreshing look at coming of age with the right mix of drama and comedy. A sweet sentimental journey.
Sweet little story. Good acting.
A shockingly relatable coming of age film that mixes great visuals and powerful themes, allowing the film to break the audience into pieces only to make them whole again.
spoke to my soul
really good movie
A throwback to the early 2002. Amazing coming of age flick.
The highs, lows and everything inbetween of real life.
amazing movie picked from my best friend
Every moment feels true; perfect casting and tone, witty and moving. If you are or ever were a teenager, you will be captivated by this film.
one of the best movies of the year. authentic, hilarious, tender, and relatable.
See it if you were ok with high school and your parents were decent to you. Otherwise, don't waste your time.
Excellent indie film. Well-written. My only issue with this movie was the ending.
not worth the as theater prices
it's a slow moving movie it was kind of hard to follow and tell the soul purpose of it and for some reason took purpose during the time of the iraq war
Saoirse Ronan is magnificent
Such a waste of time seeing this movie.
The genuine emotions reflected in this film are welcomed.
just a waste of time.
Lady Bird is phenomenal. Incredibly funny and full of heart, a beautiful reflection on growing up. Loved it so much. ❤️💛❤️ #LadyBird
Didn't. like the end
This is genuinely one of the best movies of 2017
well acted, but some of the characters needed more development or could have been fine without
Captures the style of 15 years ago. Deserving of 100% on rotten tomatoes.
I am conflicted about this. I know it just one a Golden Globe, but I don't quite understand why. I appreciated the relationship between the daughter and mother because it kinda reminded me of my relationship with my mother, but I don't know how I feel about the story.
One of the best movie I have seen in a long time. You don't need any expensive props, special effects, or well-known actors to make a great movie.
Great movie
beautiful story beautifully told. a little painful to watch at times but beautiful.
So honest and funny!
Loved it!
best movie I have seen in years.
Great acting, good characters, not a story I was expecting. A very enjoyable character exposé.
What a gem of a film with memorable performances!
Watch it. Truly amazing film.
It was a well made movie.
Loved it very Original
missing my family. missing my country. missing my high school life.
Every Mom should see with their teenage daughter.
Metacritic
There are a few fearful moments when you think the movie will be a collection of affectations. But the characters are too real, Gerwig’s eye for the adolescent lives of young women too keen.
Lady Bird is a joy, from its start...to its finish, when that ever-so-slightly older young woman takes a breath and looks out — hopefully, nervously, excitedly — into a limitless future.
