Honey Boy had a very centralized storyline, it all took place at a similar time and location (other than the flash forwards). I don’t think it lived up to what I heard about it however. It’s simplistic and decently relatable.

This movie is incredible, Noah Jupes performance was outstanding. He will genuinely always be one of my favorite actors and I’m so exited for dreamin wild just because of him. Not only was his performance so great but Shias was also incredible. I really recommend this movie.
