loved the movie...loved shia LaBeouf's acting. definately oscar worthy
Movie of tha year
Life story is a bit too thin for a full length movie.
Waste of Time!!!!
Emotionally tough to watch
Hollywood superstar Shia LaBoeuf
I found this movie to have a lot of potential and it really looked good but it didn’t keep my attention for long since it needed more substance and action. This movie was very quiet at times and I almost fell asleep since some of the scenes had no talking.... when the movie got my attention it didn’t go anywhere.... my two cents
This movie was truly incredible.
LaBeouf is so revelatory as both writer and actor that the film defies cynicism about its second purpose as celebrity image management. It just makes you excited about the work.
Honey Boy is not a self-justifying cri de coeur or a prankish exercise in narcissism, but a sensitive, sincere portrait of a child actor's dysfunctional upbringing and its devastating fallout.
Despite committed performances from LaBeouf, Lucas Hedges and Noah Jupe, Honey Boy ends up feeling indulgent rather than searing, settling into its anguish rather than translating it into trenchant drama.
