English teachers everywhere are gonna bust a nut when this hits home video because it’s an absolute wet dream of a “movie to show to my class that deals with Serious Issues in a non-confrontational and palatable way when I don’t have a lesson plan.”

Holly-BethFeb 22, 2019best picture showcase: film #5 (kinda sorta) “you're a prick, you know that?” the best picture nominee equivalent of watery, room temperature oatmeal. this was so incredibly dull that it baffles me how far something like this can get when such unique, bold and innovative…

it's virtually impossible to watch this hokey charmer (based on a true friendship!!) without thinking about what an utter shitshow its eventual release is going to be on the internet, but Mahershala Ali is just so dang good and Viggo Mortensen somehow manages to make his…
davidehrlichSep 12, 2018A road trip film? Check. That runs through Christmas time? Check. Viggo Mortensen in a hilarious role; Mahershala Ali being suave as all hell; the most charming on-screen pairing in recent memory? Check, check, and check. People will argue how Green Book could have dug…

This is a superbly done movie…great story line. Best feel good movie. Based on a true story is well directed. This movie is not JUST about racism.. it's also about the importance of fitting in and feeling accepted, about finding your joy in life & about an unexpected friendship.
9/10 great acting! The chemistry between these two actors was outstanding

Absolutely love this. Wonderful storyline, eventual character development, great acting. It was an academically sound film talking about its shooting and colors. I absolutely recommend. After all it gives you some other perspective ( that I find brilliant ) to think about.

One of the best this year. Oscar buzz.
MJMelinda JonesThis movie was phenomenal and shows how we can actually get along when we take the time to get to know each other and take the time to see how the other person lives. it is then that we usually find that we are not that different after all.
RWRenee WhiteI really enjoyed this film! Well done!

A very satisfying conclusion to what could be a very different story. Twists and turns bring two men from different backgrounds together to a very natural friendship and kinship. Beautiful in its simple complexity. An honest look at the time it is set. Hard at times to see…
NNNicole NicoleI stumbled upon this movie in a last minute decision to see something. This was, by far, my favorite movie of the year. One I will remember. It was witty, funny, emotional, and had great storylines. I would see it again!
