Synopsis
M. Night Shyamalan finally gets to finish the story he began with Unbreakable almost twenty years ago. In Glass, Bruce Willis returns as David Dunn, who has never been hurt, while Samuel L. Jackson once again plays the comic book-obsessed, would-be villain Elijah Price — better known as Mr. Glass. They collide with Split’s Kevin Wendell Crumb (James McAvoy), a.k.a The Beast, and Casey Cooke (Anya Taylor-Joy), setting the stage for a unique superhuman showdown.
As Dunn and The Beast clash, Mr. Glass orchestrates their battles from the sidelines. Shyamalan takes us to entirely new territory as he explores his darkly realistic world of heroes and villains. You’ll look at comic books in a totally new light after coming face to face with Mr. Glass.

David SimsJan 15, 2019The last 45 minutes or so of this could have been fleshed out and lengthened and you'd have a shot at the emotionally cathartic, narratively surprising, and still amusingly pulpy trilogy wrap-up that Shyamalan is perfectly capable of delivering. Unfortunately he's sort of…

Clicked for me on rewatch. Unbreakable was about the stories we tell ourselves so that reality might make sense, giving our pain a larger purpose and Split was about the power of that shared pain; this merges the two in an emotional depiction of solidarity and hope vs.…

A low-budget, high-concept superhero movie that’s as clever in its design as it is joyless in its execution, M. Night Shyamalan’s “Glass” is meant to be seen as some kind of demented self-portrait, but which of its dull characters is the long-suffering auteur meant to be?…

If you think about it this way: Glass, Split and Unbreakable are anti-Marvel movies, you might appreciate them a lot more (like I do). Shyamalan does the opposite of the superhero formula in his movies.

Idk why this movie got a lot of hate I thought it was a good ending to the trilogy. It’s my least favorite out of the three of them but that doesn’t mean it’s bad. I was pleasantly surprised by the way it ended, liked the fact that it felt different than other superhero films 👌🏻
Criminally disappointing. I don't even know where to start. The amount of superficiality in the story and the lack of emotional and dramatic depth, especially in the third act, killed everything good about it. And the cast? Completely wasted. They didn’t even bother to make-

The doctor lady pissed me off omg! I really wish they didn’t kill David and Kevin but whatever🙄 i ended up really loving this trilogy, it surprised me. LOVVVE James McAvoy, his performance was so good in this and i need him desperately Im afraid
If you can overlook the problems with the script, the direction and performances are worth the price of admission. James McAvoy offers you a performance worthy of any price of admission.

This is why M. Night Shyamalan gets so much hate. He makes great movies and disappointments. Split was amazing. Unbreakable was amazing. This was somewhat of a letdown. It was suspenseful but also boring. Reminded me of the village.
LHLindsay HernandezMaplesI'm not real sure how to feel about this movie. I liked it okay, but it was real slow to get to the point, and I think that I would have to see it again before I have a full opinion. I waited years for a sequel to Unbreakable, but I'm not sure this was the sequel we were…

I dozed off a few times during the first hour of the movie. It was ok, you can wait for Redbox.
MAMaria AcevedoJames McAvoy is an incredible actor! Loved him in Split and loved him in this movie. All the characters he played were so believable. He is amazing!! Willis and Jackson were good too but McAvoy stoke the show!!
