    A wonderful, magical animated version of king Davids ENTIRE story - not just the part with Goliath. Just the right amount of musical. I really enjoyed this movie as an adult! 10/10 recommend for any age, but especially for the kids!

    30 years in the making and none of them were a waste! 10000/10 AMAZING! I could feel the presence of God in the theater. Not just a film, but ministry! God bless the actors, the creators and the entire team.

    We took our 13 and 16 year old girls to see this movie and everyone enjoyed it. There is no gore in the movie. It is absolutely safe for younger kids. We would definitely recommend this for a nice family movie night.

    Had my 6 year old daughter and I crying tears of hope, joy, thankfulness and sadness. You just see gods mercy through Davids story , it helped me put visual to the books in the Bible and I couldn’t be more thankful because it’s something I struggle with. My kids, husband…

David may be a towering figure of biblical lore, but this telling of a chapter of his story is not merely animated, it’s cartoonish.

It comes off, it plays and it entertains. And the impressive, high-end Sunrise Animation Studio production values — realistic landscapes, clever character designs and tje scale of a capital city under construction (Gibeah, pre-Jerusalem) — are just the icing on the cake.
