This was a really great slasher. Cheesy? Yeah, but I love it lol. It does remind me a lot of Thanksgiving though, so I couldn’t help but compare. And let me tell you, no matter how cool a slasher is, killing the only black member of the main cast and DOING IT FIRST??? BOOOOOOO👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾
Clay Werner is "meh" onClown in a Cornfield6.2 - Pleasantly surprised, and also unfortunately disappointed. First trailers had me write this all the way off. First reactions from other viewers had me actually excited. But at a core it’s a slasher and I just don’t love slashers. Kills were decent. It subverted a lot of expectations and…
bean likedClown in a CornfieldThis was decent. I kind of went into it expecting to see a silly and goofy teenage slasher, and that’s exactly what I got. I actually somewhat enjoyed the comedy and thought it was reasonably well done. The ending did lose me a bit, but I walked out satisfied enough.

This would’ve been a “love” if the ending had been about 5-10mins longer and more climactic. It just felt like it ended prematurely and/or just didn’t have enough of that classic slasher big ending where “it all goes down”. Still a great film though, definitely one of the best horror films of the…
Scleratrice lovedClown in a CornfieldHonestly, I wanted more scenes with Rusty and Cole, but it’s fine — the movie is quite interesting even though it’s very predictable (after all, these are the kinds of horror films I like)
Stew likedClown in a CornfieldCheesy 80s slasher vibe , predictable ending, but all in all a good flick

4.5/10 I didn't expect much from a slasher about a clown who kills in a cornfield, but why do they have to make the protagonists so stupid and cringe? It was very predictable and the deaths were unoriginal. But I give it points because I like these kinds of silly movies.
Onyinyechi likedClown in a CornfieldA surprisingly good watch!! A great horror that subverts tropes from other classic slasher films… was NOT expecting some of the plot twists in the movie 7/10!! kind of funny, but kind of corny (get it? ‘cause of the cornfield) definitely a good time!
Max Tarrant lovedClown in a CornfieldAwesome! Felt like a classic 80s slasher movie. Characters were great, kills were also great. The story was very captivating and entertaining, the twist also was quite shocking I now want to read the book series. Highly recommend, great film!

Had clowns and they were in a cornfield.
RWRyan WilsonVery crummy, not worth your time or money. Very cliché. can’t even rank up there with the Scream franchise, Friday the 13th or Nightmare Elm Street at all.

Some fun intergenerational warfare, clever genre nods and a generally sharp script enliven what could have been a bog-standard slasher movie.

Good old-fashioned slashers never get old for horror fans as long as they’re done right, and Clown in the Cornfield is like a fresh splatter to the head, with a smile.

It’s a fun B-movie with timely elements and some exciting kills. It may not be much more than that, but sometimes that’s enough.
