Synopsis
The puppy Bella (voiced by Bryce Dallas Howard) seems to have a great life. She’s got an attentive owner (Jonah Hauer-King) who is in a good relationship with a young woman (Alexandra Shipp) and has a stable relationship with his mom (Ashley Judd). Bella has a whole family, and she’s happy.
But when an impulsive moment separates Bella from her family, she begins a journey that will take her hundreds of miles from home. Rather than accept her new fate, Bella faces the incredible journey home, making friends and avoiding danger as she sniffs out the path back to her owner.

this went from “bella gets adopted by a supportive gay couple who buys her a rainbow collar with a heart shaped tag” to “bella becomes chained to a homeless man’s corpse and proceeds to narrate about how she’s dehydrating” far too quickly for me to handle

the homosexuality in the movie was completely unnecessary. from the rainbow collar on the dog and the camera focusing on the men's wedding bands, it wasn't needed at all in a kid's movie
