Synopsis

After suffering defeat, Yuri Katsuki hangs up his ice skates for good. But will an encounter with two top skaters reignite his passion?
Moviegoers are saying
Viewers of this figure skating anime, which the reviews identify as Yuri!!! on Ice, are openly sobbing and gushing, with one saying the film was 'born to make history (breaks out into full-on sobbing).' The emotional payoff lands hard, especially Victor's devotion and Yurio's fiery rivalry, though numerical ratings sit low at 4 to 4.5 out of 10, suggesting the feelings are strong but the overall package doesn't fully satisfy. One viewer's complaint that the ending teases a 'next level' that never arrives is the sharpest critique.
