    "It's time to duel" As someone who grew up with both the original Yu-Gi-Oh! and Yu-Gi-Oh! GX series, seeing this in the cinema was an absolute treat for my inner child. The nostalgia boner was real people. And yes, Seto Kaiba is still my edgy child and I still love him.

    The animation is gorgeous, and Kaiba’s characterization is fascinating. The film leans into themes of legacy, grief, & obsession. refusal to let go is tragic and compelling, making the film feel personal, mythic, and emotionally resonant for fans who grew up with the series.

    too much useless half boring filler and not enough duel battles. for a cartoon movie well over two hours you’d think they’d include more action, more monsters, more decks. definitely miss 2000’s yu gi oh. it’s unfortunately changed for the worse over the years
