Everyone should see this movie! 😊 Wonder is great for families-- especially with not-so-little kids (9 - 15ish). Adults will love it, too. Wonder is a tender, funny, and heartwarming film. Casting was great & story was pretty close to the novel. (Of course, they can't include everything that's in the book.) You will laugh; you will cry; you will cheer; and you will fall in love with Auggie Pullman. ❤

Wonder is a story of connection, not suffering. Dramatizing one boy's effect on the people around him, it invites the viewer into that fold.
Because of the quality of the performances and the sincerity of the execution, Wonder doesn’t need to artificially stir our emotions, so it’s a shame that Chbosky lets the tone get away from him, badgering viewers with his points rather than simply letting the material speak for itself.
Giving the film credit where it’s due, Wonder never cheats in its pursuit of emotion. It’s never mawkish or manipulative, and its characters are so well-established both in the writing and in the performances that the movie ultimately does the hard work of earning those damp Kleenexes.
Based on the New York Times bestseller, WONDER tells the incredibly inspiring and heartwarming story of August Pullman, a boy with facial differences who enters fifth grade, attending a mainstream elementary school for the first time.
