loved loved loved this movie! it didnt just feel like you were watching from a theater, but it felt like i was in the movie. when the characters cried, i cried. emotional, funny, and very inspiring. definitely one of my top 10 in 2022.

I had no idea she was queer or the booing & that they thought she wasn't black enough. This insight is what makes it different.

But I definitely see some flaws and tropes throughout the movie that could have been avoided. At this point, maybe music docs should be done instead.

kenny . lovedI Wanna Dance with SomebodyI thought it was very wrote out and that it shined on other aspects of Whitney’s life. I love the musical elements and how much of an emphasis they made on how strong Whitney was as a vocalist. If Whitney saw this movie, she would be proud.
Grant Friday lovedI Wanna Dance with SomebodyFantastic film and easily now in my top 5 along with other Biopics such as Bo Rap, Rocket Man and Elvis. The acting performances are brilliant and all were right for the job. A very sad and moving story, but definitely recommend.

I think they did a good job, I just wished they would not have gone so deep in her drug addiction and concentrated more on the good things about her.

I wanna feel the HEAT … but I don’t. On the contrary, the animatronic new Whitney Houston biopic “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” left me shivering from a gust of arctic air as it so clinically and lazily examines the tragic life of the famous singer.
