The best part was when the CGI wolves from Twilight killed the Nazi child
AidenMar 16, 2024Not even 10 minutes into a holocaust movie there's a Post Malone needle drop and Helen Mirren jumpscare 10/10
Ghosty11Sep 30, 2024A decent and tragic story but the fact that this is linked to another film for mostly no reason is really weird

Most WTF prequel ever seen Sort of cautionary tale about how to tame a bully by going full nazi and telling him about holocaust horrors
Gabriele NiolaJan 6, 2024when my screening ended, a child cheerfully said "my favorite part was when that nazi guy died"
ubeequitouskissOct 8, 2024"You forget many things in life but you never forget kindness" Easy review. A Holocaust film from Marc Forester. Make me cry, thumbs up. Fail to make me cry, thumbs down. IT MADE ME CRY.

i went to see this thinking it was a jewish WWII movie, as it is advertised. i think people going into this film should know that it is made by the kingdom story company, which specializes in christian films and has a new movie coming out called “the best christmas pageant ever.”
I can't find words to describe my feelings after watching this movie. It was beautifully made. I not only cried but felt all kinds of emotions. It really touched me❤️I usually prefer to watch historical films that're based on true stories but this one I' ll keep in my heart🪻
This will always always be relevant. When I was younger, every time I saw a movie set during WWII, I wondered how people let the Holocaust happen. Now I know, it’s fascism. Lies and hatred spread by fanatics. And it’s on the rise. Please spread kindness while others spread hate 💗

I’m still crying. I can’t even describe how beautiful and tragic this movie is. You just need to watch it. It’s one of the best I have seen in a very long time.

100/10 great movie but poor Jullian. He didn’t deserve that ending. If only he didn’t take the main road that night
This is one of the most inspiring, touching and heartbreaking movies I have seen to date. 10/10 recommend

Such a wonderful movie! Bring tissue because it’s sad, but oh so beautiful.
One of the best movies I've ever seen. It's a movie that our youth need now. There is no religion in this. Just moral teaching and essential history.
Metacritic
With elegant acting from its two young leads and picturesque cinematography from Matthias Koenigswieser, it serves as a competently executed morality play for audiences craving a bit of unambiguous humanism.
One could argue that Forster and company calibrate their anodyne effects to make a Holocaust narrative that’s palatable for younger viewers. But what mostly resonates is a particularly lachrymose brand of show-business hedging.
It’s a little by-the-book — exactly, perhaps, what you might expect from elevated historical fiction aimed at young adults. Being a good-hearted, straightforward film that might even have you shedding a few tears is no crime against cinema.
