    Whiplash

    Greatest movie of all time. J.K Simmons is one of the greatest actors of all time and playes his roll perfectly. Miles Teller is just as good too and you can really see the dedication he had to the roll. The pacing through the movie was amazing. and the scenes were the best ever.

    Whiplash leaves you with one question. Does the end justify the means? Is what our protagonist endures a necessary process in order to achieve the highest level of success. Or is it a path that has led him to lose himself and fall deeper into a one sided abusive relationship.

The music is brilliant, Chazelle’s writing and directing are something to behold, Teller is really good — and Simmons delivers one of the most memorable performances of the year.

The script and Simmons, known for TV’s “The Closer” and as tantrum-tossing editor J. Jonah Jameson in “Spider-Man,” make Fletcher a monster, and then look for ways of explaining him.
