It’s called What Happens Later because not a damn thing happens now! Equally as interminable as a plane delay or an unexpected layover, so I guess they nailed it; it feels longer than KILLERS OF THE FLOWER MOON.

What can I say? In my mind, I can’t imagine anybody not wishing that this would actually happen to them. It’s actually a topic that stays fresh on my mind. I really dislike being such a hopeless romantic. Hopefully it benefits me before I die.

So basically i work at local theatre and we have play about this story. I’ve actually been looking forward to read this book but the book is not available anywhere (“ shooting star” by steven dietz) I absolutely love this story, the plot, everything. This movie is really good imo
Anne likedWhat Happens LaterIt was a 6.5/10 for me. The movie was cute, but if you’re expecting a plottwist you won’t find it. The actors did a great job portraying believable characters and were the only thing that kept me going when the plot got too boring. Loved the touch of reality at the end

This was horrible. Felt nothing like the preview. Just two people arguing an entire movie. Nothing about this movie was a comedy. I can’t believed I wasted my time watching this on a cruise ship!

What Happens Later, directed by Meg Ryan, works so hard at trying to give us something fresh and novel that I couldn’t help wishing it were better: the cloud of dissatisfaction I felt after watching it kept trying to reshape its molecules into a better movie, albeit one that could live only in my head.

While it’s unlikely to join the rom-com pantheon, its charming leads and humorous truths do invoke the spirit of Ephron, to whom the film is dedicated. It’s a worthy tribute to her, delivered by perhaps the most qualified person to create one.
