"Hi, I'm gay actor Michael Douglas."

A movie in which cocaine is surprisingly done only once. The first hour is really fun, and what is remembered about this movie. Watching Bud Fox get swept up in this world, it all feels like a fever dream. It's easy to see why Oliver Stone was such a sensation in the…

A struggle to get through cause I don’t care so much about men and money
Rachel RhodesFeb 28, 2023I enjoy this one almost purely because Douglas is as magnetic as advertised and Richardson keeps the world that spins around him as flashy and watchable as possible but it's hard on rewatch to not notice how inelegantly they gel with Stone's instinct for heavy-handed…

5/28/26: Blah Blah Blah boring-nothing-burger movie. Men yelling and having sternly dull debates about money will never end omfg. So many of their issues would be solved if they just started making out with each other. Greed probably won’t be solved that way though,, that requires internal…

Well written and directed film from director Oliver Stone. With a wild plot and what really stands out is Michael Douglas who gave a brilliant performance.
One of the best movies I’ve ever seen. Perfect acting all around. The story and messaging was clear all the way through and they stuck to what worked.

"Stop going for the easy buck and start producing something with your life. Create, instead of living off the buying and selling of others."
One of my very favorite movies of all time, masterclass in acting by MD and never feels dated! I can watch it anytime!
