It wasn’t an awful movie, I just didn’t enjoy it too much. I enjoy a movie with a good story and likable characters, but with this movie I hated ever single set of characters. Tw intense gore, nudity, SA scenes, slurs
Damien likedV/H/SI’m still trying to figure out what I watched. I liked the different stories I just think it started slow. And I wanted to see the resolution to a couple of those stories lol. But it was entertaining and spooky enough.
Bennie is "meh" onV/H/SSome of the stories were good, but overall this film was filled with cliches like constant glitch cuts, stupid decisions, and tripping at the worst time. None of the characters are likable and the found footage just makes for confusing distorted action sequences. 5

The film also plays to the strengths of the found-footage format, proving that sometimes the scariest things are the ones you can barely see. For horror hounds, this is required viewing.

I'm not sure V/H/S is brilliant cinema or anything – indeed, I'm not sure it's appropriate to call it cinema at all – but it sure is an ingenious hybrid: part Godardian art film, part abstract video experiment, part sleazy shocker, and all self-castigating interrogation of what film-theory types call the male gaze.
