grew up watching this movie (prob shouldn’t have watched it so young tbh) but an absolute classic. i don’t particularly like football movies but this is an exception 10/10

But I still really like it 🫣 this would’ve been a love if not for that awful awful strip club scene 😭
Xero dislikedVarsity Blues4/10 I can’t tell you what the theme of this movie is. Is it a romance? Sports hero? Drama? The plot jumps all over the place and it has no feet to stand on. I couldn’t bring myself to care for any of the characters. You don’t get what you hope to get from a football movie.

9.0 This movie is pretty corny, but it almost fits the vibe of the movie and enhances it. I think this movie tells a story of the darker side of sports which isn’t seen often in media, which I really enjoyed. This movie is funny, entertaining, and truthfully heartwarming.
