miranda toddNov 5, 2018according to the imdb trivia, keira knightley auditioned for this. actual english person keira knightley, who is often mistaken for natalie portman, auditioned for the role of evey, and then lost to her american lookalike

Anonymous hacker man with a slightly above average vocabulary blows up buildings, terrorizes politicians with riddles, and M'lady's his way into Natalie Portman's heart. I'm not even joking.
PaulNov 5, 2019A vehemently crafted, voraciously told & vigorously acted cinematic vessel with a valuable & vivified voice that's as veracious as it is vengeful, V for Vendetta visualises an uncompromising vision of a vile & vexatious future our increasingly venomous world is visibly…
cinemacl🎃wnMar 25, 2014When people tell me Marvel comic book movies are better than DC comic book movies, I can't help but to laugh. Then I tell them to go watch: V for Vendetta, Watchmen, and The Dark Knight Trilogy. QUALITY over quantity, people. Marvel can make as many movies as they want,…

I watch it every year on the 5th. A commentary on authoritarian government and how the people should rise up and take their power back
Joe lovedV for VendettaOne of the best movies of all time seen it atleast over 10 times

not sure if I didn’t like this movie for a good reason or just because it confused me
Fidan Hasanova lovedV for VendettaOne of the movies to watch before you die
StArs likedV for VendettaA simple representation of a anti-utopia with hints of ideas of George Orwell, Hannah Arendt, Sigmund Bauman and primitive anarchists (Saul Newman, for example) who understand freedom not in collective fundamentalism, but in total deconstruction of order.

Would recommend. Always like a movie with a message
Brutalist likedV for VendettaIt kept me entertained, unfortunately you can feel the sign of the time on this one for me… the mask, it feels cringe now, maybe not back then, the dialogue, it’s very up front with you but still pretty scarce to be honest, it’s like when someone try’s to talk with big words to sound more…
Alex lovedV for VendettaBeautiful movie, it did a great job of streamlining the book into movie format while still hitting all the right beats. Natalie Portman and Hugo Weaving both had stellar performances. The story was amazing of course and we’ve got the great Alan Moore to thank for that

The explosive V for Vendetta is powered by ideas that are not computer-generated. It's something rare in Teflon Hollywood: a movie that sticks with you.

It's a terrific movie. I love the look and the verve of the thing, the confidence of its epic design, its smart use of half a dozen noted British thesps, lending weight and wit to the supporting roles.
