    What a stellar movie!! Fantastic plot, great acting, sound was impeccable and the little snippets of romance and comedy made this film wonderful. It mixed perfectly all the genres to create something so fresh. The end though, I wish we could see more of Nikki’s future and plans.

    this movie is phenomenal & special. insane performance & sound direction, intentional w how it uses loud noises, silences & music to convey emotions and it shows Nikki's condition w such tact. its romantic, funny, sad, heartwarming. it felt a bit rushed but loved it overall.

What Daniel Roher has done with well-worn forms is to use them as setups, but put them together with a twist in a way that seems fresh and exciting.

Ultimately, Tuner is a film about sound, silence, and rediscovering who you are. It’s about the terror of losing what defines you, and the strange, unexpected ways life can offer a new shot for those who feel they already missed it.
