adamboltAug 17, 2015"They'll print anything these days." The one where they say "satellite" way too many times. If GoldenEye brought James Bond into the contemporary world by replacing its dated international politics with a commentary on the threatening possibilities of new technology,…
ScreeningNotesOct 8, 2012never seemed to me to be radically different from the beloved THE SPY WHO LOVED ME. a reasonably ridiculous story by Bond standards coupled with some incredible production design and superb late-analog action sequences the likes of which will simply never be seen again. i'm…

“They’ll print anything these days.”I just love how Michelle Yeoh outshines Bond in his own movie. There’s not enough of her in this.
Bryan EspitiaNov 15, 2022I just want to inject the David Arnold score directly into my veins. A pure adrenaline hit of a Bond film. It’s so fast and action packed it’s one of my go-to films if I just want a no nonsense two hour thrill ride. Brosnan is superb in this and surround by a great…

Straight off the huge success of goldeneye comes Tomorrow never dies a decent second Bronson film but slightly forgettable when compared to the heights of goldeneye, it does however offer a sleek action packed film with a lot of fun action set pieces and Gadgets which you…
SamMar 9, 2010This movie might not entice much with its plot, but when it comes to pure entertainment and Bond thrills, it’s right up there among the best. Personally, enjoyed this more than the Golden Eye. It has got some of the most explosive action set pieces and enjoyable gadget…
Michael JamesJun 23, 2026With its media magnate villain and Michelle Yeoh as a Chinese operative, you think this one has aged into a prescient masterpiece. I hate to break it to you, but it is exactly like every other Bond film that has folded into an amorphous entity of puns, baddies and baddies…

Brosnan is as characteristic as ever. This is a pretty solid Bond film in terms of excitement and being action packed however the plot and writing is pretty weak and lacklustre. Having said that, the action sequences are a lot of fun. Rating: H- 7/10 L- 7/10
Rating: 6.6/10 ⭐️ Continuing my Brosnan binge for 007: First Light release celebration. Thought a media villain would feel dated, but the fake news plot totally hits different today. What Worked: • Yeoh is incredible. She holds her own, and that motorcycle chase is a massive highlight. • Since I…

It’s on the average a good movie and a great bond movie so it’s one of the ones of the franchise that are worth your time mainly just for the fact the bond woman is a complete and total badass throughout its entire runtime. Overall it’s paced and acted well so imma give a 8.7/10
Carver's scheme seems like it's happened in real life multiple times already, I think that lends a lot of credence to the movie. Though I will say that the gadgetry of the film is pulling it back from entering the modern era, like when your shirt gets caught on something.

This generation of 007 movies are not good. When they take themselves seriously they get kinda stupid. They also aged poorly, especially the later films. I can't take Pierce seriously in this role. He is far too soft looking.
Briosnan is back again. The plot and script are pretty weak and Pryce as the villain isn’t a lot but for just sheer action and fun this is enjoyable stuff. The action doesn’t stop from start to finish and it’s always fun
