Synopsis
Till is a profoundly emotional and cinematic film about the true story of Mamie Till Mobley’s relentless pursuit of justice for her 14 year old son, Emmett Till, who, in 1955, was brutally lynched while visiting his cousins in Mississippi. An excellent depiction of the true, disgusting events surrounding Emmitt Tills death. The continued discomfort the movie builds, from the knowing to the events to the trial and beyond keeps its edge due to directing, acting, and production. Deadwyler is achingly captivating.

Stefan is "meh" onTillFrom what I can gather this was a pretty accurate retelling of events, and all the performances were strong. That being said, the story felt very surface-level and there were some issues with pacing, which made it feel like I was skimming through a textbook.
