It’s entertaining and engaging, but the humor, for the most part, is not my style. Cameron Diaz is charming as Mary, but because of how good she is, I can’t escape the feeling of wanting to watch her in a different type of movie.

Blends ludicrous fantasy, uncomfortable reality, and cartoonish slapstick, which magically straightens out the mess of combating characters - all with romance and sincerity.
