I think it takes a certain kind of person with certain kind of life experiences to fully appreciate a movie such as this. Essentially the entire film is Naomi Watts holing herself up in her apartment, smoking cigarettes and slowly losing what little bit of sanity she has…

I don't like this trend of really good actresses putting their entire heart and soul into the most trash scripts ever written.

Just god awful. I can’t believe I watched this at Sundance. Horrible. I guess if you like watching Naomi Watts smoke cigarettes for two hours while doing absolutely nothing, then this is the movie for you.

I have a relatively mild form of agoraphobia. I can count the number of films on the topic that I've seen on one hand and I'm not sure there's ever been a good one. I was in from the moment I saw that Naomi Watts was in it. It takes place in 1977 in the Bronx. The…

Sufficient descent into madness contained thriller. Naomi and 70s shaggy-haired Emory Cohen alternate reality spinoff please.

On the whole, his (Griffin) indecisive The Wolf Hour tick-tocks its way to an underwhelming finale. And when it gets there, the most shocking realization you’ll have is how forgettable an affair it all has been.

The result is a sometimes punishingly theatrical experiment that teeters on the verge of surreality, transfixing us with the promise of something terrible lurking just beyond those ratty curtains.

She (Watts) produced it to show off the range of her obvious talent, and deserves an A for effort in a vehicle that rates a D for dreary, desolate and depressing. The rest of The Wolf Hour deserves an F for forget it.
