Gustaf the cat, best movie cat. Appears on screen for maybe 15 seconds total, and he spends a good third of it with his tongue sticking out. I also love everything else about this, glacial pace and all. Fog!

Carmilla biting other people on their necks while biting the women she seduces on their boobs. Pretty much her signature move. 😎

Beautiful lesbian vampires what’s not to like! But seriously another great hammer Dracula with a nice edge. Carmilla is wonderfully played and the costumes and sets are marvelous as usual.

though i enjoy the sex appeal portrayed with the vampire species, i do believe there was too much nudity within this movie. however, i did putting faces to the book.

I got to see this at the Library of Congress :D So surreal and camp! The first and second acts are literally two different films, and I MUCH prefer the second!

This eroticized vampire tale resulted from the last significant surge of creative energy at Britain's Hammer Films, which thereafter descended into abject self-parody.
