Hi Folks, believe it or not I’ve spent THREE YEARS developing this movie and seeing it through to its release.  About 1.5 years ago I was watching BLACK SUNDAY at 3am and thought to myself...wouldn’t it be cool if Mary had a badass metallic mask in the shape of the Virgin…

The Unholy (2021) belongs in the what if the one's we're praying to are actually the devil? horror subgenre. However this movie is so boring it could make a catholic fall asleep without praying.

I’m sorry but when Alice was “seeing” Mary and they showed this hilarious angel like person, all I could think of was the Teletubbies baby on the sun 😭😭

The first 15 minutes of this movie are really great and set up a very promising story. Unfortunately, the movie pretty much stops at that point and remains motionless for about an hour, until the climax of the movie. I think there is potential in some places, but it just…

The only miracle that is going to happen in this movie is Cary Elwes actually pulling off that Boston accent.

It was interesting for sure. It definitely focused on the message of redemption a lot, which I found to be a bit overkill by the end. But it did have some cool elements for sure and I like the story. Could’ve used some pacing work but otherwise well done

wasn't that scary, more like eerie. could've done better with the jumpcscares & horror factor. it focused more on redemption & the ending was good. overall, its a good movie but not scary, i'll give it 7/10

One of the better movies so far this year. It was a bit creepy but not over the top. The story had great progression without spoiling the ending. We throughly enjoyed it.

Thought it would be really Intresting but instead it came across as a paint by the numbers horror movie though I did like the statement the movie made of showing that sometimes church leaders are willing to sell their souls and condone evil because of the benafist/ rewards…

this is my first movie back in theaters after covid and i want to say it wasn't bad. It wasn't the greatest movie but it was entertaining . It had good jump scares and good set ups but it lacked some cinematography...that's just me. But over all it was good.

This is the flimsiest of hokum, possessing all the gravity of a bible salesman hocking his wares outside the subway.

Writer-director Evan Spiliotopoulos barely capitalizes on the luridly sacrilegious implications of the film’s premise.

It’s a credit to Brown, Morgan, and Sadler that the story works at all. These actors maintain the illusion that The Unholy is a competent horror movie for far longer than it deserves. But in the end, there are just too many pieces missing to make this a coherent whole.
