tbh if 1999 jude law called me boring I would apologize and immediately drown myself to not inconvenience him any further
aliciabrJan 12, 2020"Tom is talented. Tom is tender. Tom is beautiful. Tom is a mystery. Tom is not a nobody. Tom has secrets he doesn't want to tell me, and I wish he would. Tom has nightmares. That's not a good thing. Tom has someone to love him. That is a good thing. Tom is crushing me."

The only reason why I don’t LOVE this movie is because of how uncomfortable it made me. Matt Damon does good with his split personalities and it makes for a gripping watch. This movie is tough to watch but pretty good ngl!
I liked it, but it gave me so much anxiety that still to this days I have difficulties to watch Matt Damon in movies or interviews. That’s a good thing because it means that his interpretation was GOLD. So good job Matt, I couldn’t sleep for a week but it was worth it.

A film with a phenomenal cast whose performances are exceptional from beginning to end, this only enhances the already riveting story. This film has perfect pacing to the point where all of a sudden I found it to be over. Matt Damon displays Tom Ripley’s coldness amazingly.

This movie pulled so many 180s on me, but I loved every part of it. All the characters are mysterious in their own ways which makes watching the story unfold intriguing.
The gay Mr Ripley. Frankly. He could never get away with all that in these days because of cellphones and that’s what’s wrong with the world. Also I now finally see why people called Saltburn a terrible rip off of this movie. Cause it’s literally the plot of the first half almost to a T.
By the meh I mean that the plot and the whole story in general terms was very good, well developed. However, the amount of those ‘tension scenes’ between Ripley and some other dude made the movie a bit hard to follow. Those scenes gave a humor or strange continuity to the film..
