    WHY SHE DIDNT CHOOSE MIKE AGHHH he was perfect, handsome, tall and with class consciousness !!! that would it be the best final for me but i loved the movie anyways 9/10

    I'm with "Dinah." I was waiting for someone to get socked too lol. All 3 of the leads were great, as I expected, but something was missing that prevented me from enjoying it a whole lot, or I expected more. Either way, it's a great film, and a rewatch would probably improve.

    This is the first time I’ve heard of a “comedy of remarriage” and ngl I kind of love it. I know writers had to get extra creative because of the Hays Code, but this didn’t read as sanitized and really kept me interested the whole time.

Add Hepburn’s persona, beautifully explored here in all its wonder, and Stewart’s likeability, and George Cukor’s sensible, subtle, and lovingly unrushed direction of a firecracker script…the result is a studio picture far deeper and richer than its whimsical surface style might lead you to believe.
