Making Evelyn and Rick a happily married couple instead of splitting them up to retread the arc of the first movie is the single greatest decision any sequel has ever made.
Caroline SiedeAug 5, 2019this whole movie wouldn't have happened if evy and rick weren't too busy making out to watch their child

so apparently i never watched this movie even though i thought i did 💀 i really enjoyed it though! it started off kinda iffy but i proved itself as a worthy sequel to the mummy, with a lot of the same elements but just different enough to add something i loveee imhotep so much :(

This entire plot exists because Evy and Rick were too busy playing tongue-tennis to notice their child wandering off like a side quest and the most shocking part is that they stopped making out after the kid was gone😹 I don’t blame either of them I mean have you seen them?!!!!!!!
Not as narratively tight as the first one. The mummy and Anubis effects are great but lacks in the scorpion king and fight choreo. Too bad they aged up the protagonists, gave them an annoying kid. Brendan Fraiser stills nails it, Rachel Weiss seems less interested. Still CLASSIC.
This is just non stop insane action all the way. Fraser and Weisz are back again this time with their son. The plot and script don’t really matter because the action is so relentless and spectacular it eclipses everything else. It’s fun and frantic with a great soundtrack

While not as good as the first film, this is still a solid follow up to the original. Brendan Fraser is great as always and Rachel Weisz is so fine in this movie. The fight sequences are fun and the special effects are good except for the final battle. Underrated movie.
nothing memorable or even goo for that matter except for rachel weisz obviously which is why i even watched this. love the bad cgi and the characters are cute, but the writing and acting is absolutely ridiculous, i actually laughed when evie was dying it was that bad
brendan fraser is a national treasure and he really brings the heroic charm even more in the sequel. rachel weisz is just as good as him wish she could’ve been in the 3rd one and the kid wasn’t annoying so that’s a plus. ardeth is my favorite character such a badass

What matters is that the movie's a blast, right up until its protracted climax.
Many of the visual effects are stunning, but others are downright cheesy -- especially an attempt to fuse the Rock's head onto a scorpion's body.
A few billion 1s and 0s in search of a movie.
