Making Evelyn and Rick a happily married couple instead of splitting them up to retread the arc of the first movie is the single greatest decision any sequel has ever made.

Morgan lovedThe Mummy Returnsso apparently i never watched this movie even though i thought i did 💀 i really enjoyed it though! it started off kinda iffy but i proved itself as a worthy sequel to the mummy, with a lot of the same elements but just different enough to add something i loveee imhotep so much :(

This entire plot exists because Evy and Rick were too busy playing tongue-tennis to notice their child wandering off like a side quest and the most shocking part is that they stopped making out after the kid was gone😹 I don’t blame either of them I mean have you seen them?!!!!!!!

Too bad they aged up the protagonists, gave them an annoying kid. Brendan Fraiser stills nails it, Rachel Weiss seems less interested. Still CLASSIC.

While not as good as the first film, this is still a solid follow up to the original. Brendan Fraser is great as always and Rachel Weisz is so fine in this movie. The fight sequences are fun and the special effects are good except for the final battle. Underrated movie.
