Like if Tyrese Gibson's character from Fast and Furious directed an Ocean's movie on 1 million dollars. Writing down the names of every person who requested we cover this in the Sleazoids patron discord server.

Expectations for Renny Harlin movies are pretty low these days, in that most people don’t even expect them to exist. Even with that caveat, the director’s latest effort still manages to underwhelm. “The Misfits” isn’t just a low-rent slog peppered with racism in lieu of any…

Pierce Brosnan and Tim Roth got a nice holiday to UAE out of this. A win for middle aged British actors. A loss for the rest of us.

”Please, tell me you’re joking.” Let me see if I have this straight. You want me to watch and like an extremely lame movie where you go into a Middle Eastern country, one that you’ve been explaining for an ungodly amount of time, that is filled with terrorists, to steal…

From the trailer, The Misfits presents itself as an R-rated Fast and Furious. Unfortunately, if you go in expecting a lot of action and crazy car chases, you might be left disappointed. The Misfits is a harmless heist movie. Fans of Pierce Brosnan might be satisfied. I…

An absolute feast for Brosnan-heads. This is Brosnan unleashed. Co-written by Kurt Equilibrium Wimmer and produced by a rich doofus named Rami Jaber, who also co-stars. The rest of the cast is a who's-who of people who need work. Like Woody Allen before him, Renny Harlin…

The characters are bland, the dialogue is atrocious, the action is mediocre, and even the heist is a boring bust.

For the first 20 minutes or so — a blitz of eye candy and ear worms — its breezy action and the performers’ good cheer are enough to entertain. Too soon, though, the movie drifts into narrative doldrums that derail its momentum and drain the cast’s energy.

The film is almost refreshing in its flightiness, even as it remains defiantly ignorant of the world in which it exists.
