    recently (past like 2-3 months) got into watch hockey and like fell in love with the sport i don’t know i’ve never skated or played in my life but it’s the only sport that i’ve actually wanted to pay attention too so very cute “coming of age” type movie 9/10 loved it

    wasn’t expecting to like this movie so much! I only watched it in the first place for Joshua Jackson and maybe that was the main reason why I loved the movie as much as I did, but I usually love ice sports movies and this is one of the best ones. 8/10

    i loved the mighty ducks! it tells a fun, heartfelt, and feel-good story. it may be cheesy, but it's full of teamwork, growth, and laughs. coach bombay's character development was sweet, and the team of kids is so loveable. it's a true classic!

    Nostalgic goodness that holds up. Goofy fun, while also having being able to hold a serious tone when it needs to. Great cast that works off of one another wonderfully. One of the best live-action Disney movies of its era. 🦆

It must be said that this movie is sweet and innocent, and that at a certain level it might appeal to younger kids. I doubt if its ambitions reach much beyond that.

As directed by Stephen Herek, The Mighty Ducks moves energetically but lacks the enjoyable quirkiness of Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, which Mr. Herek also directed.
