Watched last night. Better than the first the pace picks up a little bit. Gollum is a god damn crack feen for that ring man, guy creeps me out. Epic battle at the end, when Gandalf the white shows up I got a little bricked up ngl. Frodo Baggins still sounds like puss boi tho.

The battle of Helm’s Deep is one of the greatest battle sequences I have ever seen. Amazing how 4 hours can fly when you’re totally immersed.

God forbid this should ever play on an IMAX screen -- the concussive soundtrack and relentless visuals would likely strike viewers deaf and blind (but what a way to go!). Simply breathtaking.
