If I were a small child whose mom recently committed suicide I would simply not very elaborately gaslight my dad's new gf who is an unstable lone survivor of a suicide cult.
Josh LewisFeb 3, 2019GOODNIGHT MOMMY had some logic issues. THE LODGE *is* a logic issue. the real shame with this spectacularly dumb but richly atmospheric horror movie is that the (incredibly, indescribably, unfathomably) stupid plot twists could have been somewhat believable if handled…

“you have nothing to be scared about” paralyzing and agonizing. i’ve been considering my rating all day, but i just realized there wasn’t a single second of this that i wasn’t completely at its mercy, staring helplessly at the theater exit sign and wishing i didn’t have to…

so this movie is basically that scene in the parent trap where annie and hallie make their dad's new girlfriend miserable for the entire camping trip, except it goes on for an extra 90 minutes and it's way more cruel and sinister

A well done film with great shots and scenery but the slow pace did not have me wanting more. I like the idea behind the trauma and how it was exploited by the children but most of the flick was spent waiting for something that ending up disappointing. Not upset I gave it a watch
Honestly not good. I would not recommend not even to watch once. Almost nothing happened the entire movie and the ending was so odd. This did not fit the movie and they left it on a cliffhanger for a movie that no one wants a sequel to. Whoever thought of this is an odd person…

I mean I get it. I get why it’s disturbing. I get why people like it. Didn’t click for me. It’s well made I just didn’t like it before you come at me lol. Too long and too slow of a burn. Spoiler . . . . . F them kids. They got what they deserved
Yeah this is good to be honest but like not the best but a solid like from me I think personally it could be better but it was still really good but like some stuff was like hmmm
