  • An absolutely flawless, mature family drama. It genuinely feels like it was written for adults first and kids were kind of an afterthought. Animation as a medium rarely gets better than this.

    9.6 - Top 5 Pixar easily, Top 5 superhero movie arguably. Incredibly gets better with every rewatch (no pun intended). It has some of the best character development & realness in its portrayal of family & then pairs it with all the heart and humor in the world. Totally wicked.

    my absolute comfort film. i’ll come back to it here and there to just feel happy. there really is nothing like it. everytime i watch that sequence of dash realizing he can run on water… i get goosebumps throughout my entire body. every damn time man. ugh. so good. 10 / 10 always and forever
