It’s actually insane how much this feels like an 80s movie. The plot, setting, costumes, cinematography, music, felt so authentically 1980s, I easily could’ve been convinced it was from that era had I known less about the film.

Genuinely respect how simple and unpretentious this is and the slow burn 70s aesthetic recreation/eventual gory climax does a solid enough job of distracting you from the fact that there are literally 75 minutes of a girl walking around a house in here. Not bad by any means…

A tribute to the horror films of the 1980s, completely capturing its cinematic, aesthetic, storytelling and tone. While the film suspense is what stands out, is also the reason for its undoing. The slow but tense buildup is amazing, but it falls flat when it uncovers the mystery.

I really enjoyed the cinematography and the general atmosphere of the movie was well done. However, nothing really happened until the last 20 minutes of the movie and i found myself losing interest before then, due to that i can’t give this more than a ‘meh’ rating.

Very much had a grind house feel to it. Samantha is a pretty legit final girl. It’s not super fast. More suspense until the end. Enjoyed the acting and the cinematography. Early TI West film is you’re a fan of X and pearl.

very slow paced but it added a lot to the story and the build up and made it for suspenseful, the main girl really tried her best, I wish we got a little more to the ending but overall it was still really good! 8/10

This movie kinda made time pass really weirdly, like there’s not way it was longer than 45 min but also it took me an eternity to finish 😭 I liked all the shakey camera movements and overall atmosphere of the film.

the movie took a while for something to eventually happen as it was incredibly slow. i enjoyed it being set and filmed like a 80s movie and the idea of the movie was good just took to long to get to anything.

A tribute to the grindhouse films of the 80s. This movie is a victim of an annoying trend within the horror genre which is diving into every cliche in the final half hour which causes a huge drop in quality.
