AMAZINGGGGGGG
Good movie
I read the book, so it was a different experience for me The character was more likable than in the book.
movie was horrible to many back and forth with the time and to many character changes
Beginning was not too good , middle and end were great
It was an okay movie.
At first it was confusing, however throughout the movie I put two and two together which allowed me to be more indulged in the movie ! Overall it was a good movie, loved the ending
Long buildup ...don't go see this late because you'll fall asleep. Good movie and the twist at the end is good but lifetime movie ish
I loved it and I would see it again . Advised my friends to see it on facebook..
Wasn't what I expected but it was really good anyway
Good but not great
The acting in the movie was phenomenal, and the cast was great. I just wish I hadn't guessed the ending in the middle of the film.
This movie always keeps you guessing. it's awesome.
what a waste...
Great Plot Twist. Dragged a bit, but overall good movie!
Great film!
amazing movie
amazing movie
very slooowwwwww
Not bad. Plot twist was somewhat easy to figure out, though, and occurred to early in the film. Nice work by Emily Blunt.
The acting was great, me and my friends spent a lot of time trying to predict the ending. It was fun kinda reminded me of gone girl.
Good!
Loved this movie I did not expect the ending at all, kept me engaged the whole time!
Extremely suspenseful, had me and my friend gasping throughout the movie but was honestly pretty slow-paced for the first hour and a half.
Lit
Was refreshing to see how close it was to the book!
Boring af at the beginning, but it all makes since at the end great movie overall
Emily Blunt did a great job!
A bootleg version of gone girl
movie took forever and a day to get really started. But it was a good mystery
Crazy emotional movie! Nonetheless great plot twist!!
Loved it!
Slow start but good
Great movie had me guessing a lot but I was out smarted lol which doesn't happen too often
Idk what I just watched...
Great movie!!
after reading the book, my expectations were set too high for the movie
Sit There In The Theater I Was Growing empathy for the main character of this movie rachel. For Me I was really starting to belive that she was a drunk someone who just lives in there sorrow and pain and all she wanted was to feel sorry for herself and she wanted others to feel the same. Turning The Climax of the Flim I Think Rachel And Myself Couldnt Tell The Difference between what was real and what was reality or even make belive. As i continue to watch the strory unfold rachel was living in a lie that her ex not only made her belive but he made it her life and that was the twist of the movie that rachel was indeed not crazy but she was the victim the hole time.
The movie was great! The suspense was unidentified until the end!
If you read the book you won't be too disappointed. The acting is great, and it is a must see. However, as in most cases, the book is much better. There are many changes from the book to movie. Others watching who did not enjoy the book may have a harder time following the movie's frequent flashbacks between past and present just as in the book.
If you loved, Gone Girl then this is a must see !!
The movie was very slow and I started falling asleep..Never done that before at a movie theater. It was constant flash backs which through me for a loop for a minute then I figured things out..
Left me on the edge of my seat the entire movie .... great!!!!
Exceeded my expectations. Enjoyed it more than I thought I would.
great.
Totally loved it and would watch it again.
Great movie
Didn't translate well from the book
Good movie but not realistic
Great twist but had female gender cliches, and pace was too rushed.
Metacritic
A tricky thriller whose tricks are less important than its riveting leading lady.
As a big-screen thriller, The Girl on a Train is just so-so, but taken as 112 minutes of upscale psychodramatic confessional bad-behavior porn, it generates a voyeuristic zing that’s sure to carry audiences along.
No matter how basic Hawkins’ book might be in comparison to some of the ones that came before it, it’s hard to argue that it didn’t deserve better than this, that any story so smartly attuned to the need for women to hear themselves and each other should be reduced to such flavorless swill.
